1962: Martin M. Elfant establishes Direct Mortgage Loan Company.

1973: Martin’s son, Robert J. Elfant, joins the business after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
 
1984: Controller Nancy Ford joins the company and plays an integral role in developing the business.
 
2005: Jared E. Pontz joins the company after graduating from the University of Delaware and serving two years in the United States Peace Corps.

2009: Jared E. Pontz becomes a partner in the business and continues to oversee the growth of the company.
